A former top executive in one of the largest retail companies headquartered in The Bahamas, Ken Chaplin had a life-altering moment that left him questioning what he really wanted to do. Donna has, in a sense, been involved in Real Estate all her life. At first it was traipsing all over Nassau with her father, who invested in Real Estate touring homes under construction, with a critical eye to construction methods as well as design. She attended college in Boston, Massachusetts majoring in Economics. She then returned home to be distracted by a career in Offshore Banking for 10 years in Canada, the United States, and her native Bahamas. Later, with her husband Robert, they built spec and custom homes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, enjoying every moment of it. Distractions came again after moving back to the Bahamas, as her next career was that of a "Domestic Goddess" while raising three wonderful but energetic sons. She did, however, instill in her sons some of her passions, and they are now Architects and Engineers.
