The Tribune August 15, 2008 - ERA® Realtors have dubbed Nassau "the best place on earth to sell real estate".
Maybe it was the sunset, or the sailboat they chartered, or their host, Peter Dupuch, who regaled them with tales of celebrities who lived in New Providence and sheikhs who vacationed on the island with their entourages. Whatever it was, 60 of the top-selling ERA® associates from nearly a dozen countries toured Nassau and Paradise Island by boat and arrived at a singular conclusion: "Nassau is the best place in the world to sell real estate." The 60 luxury specialists were in The Bahamas as part of a 150-person strong conference, Beyond Excellence Awards, held July 20-24 at Atlantis. "...it was good to hear experts from Belgium and the Netherlands, South Korea, North Korea, China, all these exotic places, ooh and aah over Nassau and Paradise Island", said Mr. Dupuch.
Mr. Dupuch's firm, founded in 1993, joined the ERA® Real Estate network in 2001, with more than 38,000 brokers worldwide and some 3,000 offices in the US, Europe and the Caribbean. Last year, ERA® Real Estate won the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates Award for Highest Overall Satisfaction for Repeat Home Sellers Among National Full-Service Real Estate Firms. This year its new website has won numerous awards.
"It is an honour to be affiliated with a global leader whose excellence was recognised internationally by an objective body and we aim to live up to that reputation on a daily basis", Mr. Dupuch said.
The high-end market has been solid for Dupuch Real Estate, which now has offices throughout the Bahamas.
